The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states have become more economically intertwined, maximizing gains from intra-regional trade, due to the adoption and implementation of the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA). The overall objective of the study is to estimate the impact of ATIGA tariff liberalization on Philippine manufacturing firm performance using firm-level data and quasi-experimental methods.
