The Department of Tourism (DOT), through the Office of Tourism Digitalization and Resource Generation, collaborates with the PIDS to conduct research studies aimed at establishing policy frameworks that will support DOT’s operations in key areas such as Tourism Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Investment and Enterprise Innovation, and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) Tourism. This research collaboration is aligned with the DOT’s goal to advance the local tourism industry as a vital driver of economic growth by implementing a wide range of programs, projects, and initiatives to enhance both the capacity of the sector and its global competitiveness.
