This issue of the DRN, which is the final issue of the revamped DRN for 2013, chronicles the proceedings of the nationwide celebration of the 11th Development Policy ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Month (DPRM) last September. With the theme "Making health more inclusive in a growing economy", the DPRM events highlighted policies aimed at making health more inclusive. An important recommendation is for the Philippines to hike health expenditures to the minimum 5 percent recommended by the World Health Organization from the current 3 to 3.5 percent.
