On May 5, 2026, the Congressional Policy and Budget ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Department, led by Deputy Secretary General Romulo Emmanuel Miral Jr., visited the PIDS office to explore areas for collaboration.
This engagement marks a shared commitment to strengthening knowledge-sharing and identifying strategic opportunities for joint work—particularly to bring research closer to the legislative process. The revival of the Legislators Forum Series is one of the key steps forward, creating a space where evidence meets policy in a more direct and practical way.
Through the Socioeconomic ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Portal for the Philippines network, PIDS continues to make policy research more accessible, relevant, and useful in supporting evidence-based policymaking in the country.
